As the technology world continues to evolve at unprecedented speeds, it becomes increasingly difficult to imagine a world without mobile phones, push notifications, and real-time access to the all of the world’s data.

Of course, many companies have already addressed our dependency on modern technology. One example is the “Really?” campaign for Windows Phone. See the ad below, it is great!

While the ad is indeed humorous, the reality is not too far off. Well, Saturday Night Live was spot on in this video they recently aired. As time goes by, this dependency on modern technology is only increasing and our laziness develops accordingly.

I don’t think I need to tell you what  your reaction would have been had I told you ten years ago what technology we would be using today on a daily and hourly basis. I mean, talking phones? SIRIously? (See what i did there?) Enjoy the hilarious video! (UPDATE: The video was removed by NBC)

Hat Tip to David Stein and Elie Klein for bringing this video to my attention.
